It’s a very well known fact that internet escort services employ women across many states, and do business in multiple states. Law enforcement is considerably putting pressure by working together at the federal, state, and local levels to bring down these widespread escort agencies.
The madame of a multi-state prostitution ring has been arrested in Chattanooga on federal charges.
Tatiana Valencia Wallace, 29, of Union City, Tn., is charged with interstate transport of an individual for the purpose of prostitution.
Police said on Sept. 27, Chattanooga Detective Zach Fuller, working undercover, negotiated an agreement with a prostitute who agreed to perform sex acts at the Sheraton Hotel for $160. Detective Fuller had initially responded to a Backpage.com advertisement that indicated the prostitute had an assistant who booked customers.
Police said the same phone number listed in the ad was the same as that in multiple Backpage.com ads. The business name was listed as “Dreamgirl Companions.”
Listings were found in Virginia, Kentucky, South Carolina, Alabama, Georgia, Florida, Maine, Utah, Nebraska, Tennessee and other states.
